Glimpses of the in-house symposium that was organized earlier this year at Medanta Moolchand Heart Institute, New Delhi.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Praveen Chandra, Chairman, Medanta The Medicity. With his introductory remarks, Dr. Chandra has set the context for the day's topic and discussion. Dr. Mukul Kaushik, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist presented on “Newer Solutions in the Management of Tricuspid Regurgitation”. While speaking on the Tricuspid Valve anatomy/pathology, various treatment options have been discussed in detail. In the current scenario, CAVI with Bicaval Valves Implantation seems to be the best option for treating patients with hemodynamically relevant tricuspid insufficiency who are not suitable for open-heart surgery.
